Painting my room hott pink and black? My mom told me to pick a theme of my room and I picked a Zebra theme. I want the two opposite walls in my room black and the other 2 opposite walls a hott pink color, and than I'll have my bedspread zebra print, etc.... Anyways, my aunt should have been an interior decorator because she's amazing when it comes to decorating. So when I told her my idea she said that painting my room those colors would cost about $600, just for my room. She said that because of the hott pink and the black colors it'd be hard to get my room to what I want, and it'd take about 6-10 coats of paint to get it that way. My question is....Isn't that what primer is used for? So than you don't have to use 6-10 coats of paint? Any advice would be great. Thanks
