Can i train freeriding on a trail mountain bike? So i have recently been into mountain biking and found out that there are different versions of it....Downhill, free ride and cross country/trail riding. I have been looking at free riding and i think it looks great and want to be a part of it but the problem is i live in an area where there are some pretty good trails and although my bike suck it's still a trail bike. I was wondering if i keep up trail riding would my skills still improve if i want to switch to free ride later on.___.
