twist grip sensor part # information thanks, just what I needed to hear. I'll give it a shot with he stock gear especially since the grip sensor costs more than the handlebars.
twist grip sensor part # information
twist grip sensor part # information I bought one because I thought I needed it from the book. (30% off sale and I bought a lot of stuff) When I went to install the bars, I realized that I didn't need it so it was a waste of money. I kept the original just in case I have a problem, but know that that is good insurance so that I never need one.
twist grip sensor part # information Stock TGS # is 32305-08A. There's also a jumper harness 70415-08A. Not any clue why the MoCo says you need the kit and cannot reuse the stock TGS. I reused it with my WO508 bar.
twist grip sensor part # information using the H-D catelog the ONLY item requiresd was/is the twist grip sensor, all others (clutch cable etc says "stock". so still back to is the number different than stock OEM
twist grip sensor part # information I guess it depends on which bars you choose. I put a set of HD pullbacks on my TG last week and there was enough wire length to re-use the OEM. The only thing I had to change was the clutch cable.
twist grip sensor part # information planning to change oem handlebar with something providing a bit more reach. The H-D catelog lists part # 32310-08 (twist grip sensor) as being required for the H-D Reach or Heritage Style handle bars. Does anyone know what the OEM part number is for the twist grip sensor and what the difference is between the OEM and 32310-08 (length). If it's just to provide an extra couple inces, I wonder why I could not solder in two or three inches of wire and save $81+ buckaroos. So if someone can tell me the 32310-08 is X inches longer than stock, I am inclined to modify the OEM myself, or am I looking at a restistant omn issues with the twist grip sensor?
