Seventeenth century was the age of science that lead to the age of enlightenment in the 18th century. Scientific inventions gave birth to several modern concepts and eliminating some age long concepts that was keeping mind of the people bogged preventing enlightenment. Advancement of enlightenment on the other hand gave an impetus to further scientific revolutions. In fact the two cannot be judged separately from each other since they are mutually complementary as well as supplementary.
