My car's gas pedal sticks after getting tires changed...?

I just got all tires changed to new ones yesterday and this morning my gas pedal won't get pressed when I was trying to make a left turn...and it happened several times more after that and most of the time I press onto gas pedal, it felt sticky.

I took it to the mechanic where I got my tires changed and they said my pedals got sticky so they sprayed some WD-40 and it should work fine.

But I still feel it was a little sticky every time I step on gas.

They said it's not from getting my tires changed but I've never had this happening before so I feel like it is from changing tires...

I paid $500 to get new tires so I don't wanna have to spend more money on car...I'm broke...;(

Could this be from getting my tires changed? Btw my car is Toyota Camry LE 1999
