Don’t hide anything from your parents. Please tell them and make your life easier. Try these things may be you can learn to control your self… :- Eat healthy - eat organic food, especially a lot of fruits :- Sleep with the windows open for maximum fresh air :- Get pets :- Get close to nature :- Read the books How to lift depression :- Getting romantically involved with a person of your choice

Better to find study material, books and other information and you can learn to control it yourself.... no doctor or parents needed. Just the knowledge. It is like diabetes II and HIV, nasty uncomfortable but not deadly. Learn to live with it. Hands and feet busy, and depression can not get hold of you. Peace. Suffering for 30 years, but I have it so well under control that a bout lasts 30 minutes now and not months as in the beginning.
Can I go to the doctor to discuss my depression and get "tested" for it without a parent? I'm 16 years old. I know they can check for chemical imbalance. But can i go alone?
