What is a fair price to pay to have someone rebuild the motor on a 2002 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Mean Streak? I brought my bike into a shop to have them look everything over and change all the fluids because I just bought it from a guy who didn't seem to know much about it. Add that to the fact that it has just over 28,000 miles on it and the front tire was so bald there was no tread left on it at all and there was a sport bike tire on the back. I figure the worst thing they could say is that I will need to rebuild the motor or transmission and it would be good to know if they try to screw me on the price when they give me a quote.
