Using the Orion Starshoot Autoguider for Imaging.?

    Hiya!
So I have an Orion Starshoot Autoguider and it is -great- at what it does. as it keeps my mount pretty much locked on for when I'm doing my Film Astrophotography. But I was wondering how it does with imaging. Not for anything small and faint, I really just want to get shots of the moon. I know it only has a 1.3mp sensor but if I take a few hundred frames I should have enough to stack and be able to pull a large print out of it right?
I was given MaxIm DL for Christmas so the shutter speed isn't an issue as the program lets me vary the exposure time.
