Just say... "The staff hopes to be able to do this, and acting as an individual, I will have my name beneath it identifying myself as the writer." EDIT: Ok, your question was a bit confusing. Perhaps if you had put the part you needed help on in quotes or on a separate line would have helped. "In conclusion, the staff sincerely hopes that, as you look back upon your experience here, you can say without question you have made: Every Minute Count."
Need help with wording a sentence for a publication? I am in the process of writing a paper for the school yearbook, the theme is Every Minute Counts. I would like to conclude that we (the yearbook staff) hope that as you look back, you can say you've made Every Minute Count. I feel like the "we" is inappropriate. Yes, we the staff do hope they can do this, but I as an individual will have my name under it as the writer. Does anyone have suggestions on how else I can word this sentence without saying we or The Yearbook staff? All suggestions are welcome. Thanks! Thank you GeneL, but that is not the sentence I need help on. It's the "we hope that as you look back, you can say you've made Every Minute Count."
