RC car battery/charger question? i have a traxxas slash and my charger wont charge the battery. i have Prophet Plus charger and when i charger the battery, the battery stays cool and the adapter (from the normal white plug to the traxxas high current plug) gets very hot. too hot to touch. so i have to unplug it. they battery doesnt even get 1/8th of a charge. its my charger broken or is it the battery? P.S. i bought a new NiMh battery today and it does the same thing. could it be the charger or the adapters bad?
