i have a 83 c6 transmission in the truck already, and i put a 85 ford 302...
...motor in the truck, will this even w? I bought the truck with the 17 bolt pattern c6 transmission in it, i then put a ford 302 into the truck. I went to have the tranny flushed and they found parts of the clutch and friction plates in the pan. Do i need to rebuild the trans? Or is there anything i need to do to make the c6 adaptable for the 302?
