    Tom

Quick question about car audio equipment?

This is currently what is in my car:
    http://www.amazon.com/Kenwood-Kac-8405-720-Watt-2-Channel-Amplifier/dp/B0038FNIBW/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

    powering these, http://www.amazon.com/Kicker-DS65-Coax-Speakers-Pair/dp/B004K4VSCG/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1354531298&sr =1-1&keywords=kicker+6.5

    and these, http://www.amazon.com/Kicker-DS693-3-Way-Speakers-Pair/dp/B004K5AZAQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1354531362&sr= 1-1&keywords=kicker+6x9

    I also have this, http://www.amazon.com/Kenwood-Kac-8105D-1000-Watt-Class-Amplifier/dp/B0038FHHHS/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1354531405&sr= 1-1&keywords=kenwood+1000

powering a single 12" kicker compvx sub in my trunk in a sealed box.

So all of my speakers have blown now and I'm looking for a pair of 6.5" and 6" x 9" speakers to replace them. I've been looking and the infinity reference series is looking pretty promising. Though their max rms is 60 and I see that my 4 channel amp can give out 75 rms @ 2 ohms. I'm wondering if the amp will blow these speakers, I don't really understand impedance yet. Also, any suggestions for speakers that would be worth the money would be appreciated. I'm going for sound quality rather than loudness.

Also on a side note, my 6x9 speakers are behind the rear seats in my neon, you can see the back of the speakers inside the trunk. I was wondering if those could have blown due to the amount of air that the sub forces around inside the trunk, when I crank up the bass the cones in them move quite a bit. Could that have been a contributing factor to them blowing? I was thinking about building an airtight enclosure around the back of both of the 6x9's.
