Mercury from a broken thermometer, will it hurt me? So I dropped a thermometer to find a persons temperature on a wooden floor and it broke, there was a small ball of mercury, like a metal bead, on the floor, i touched it a little bit but i didn't really pick it up, there were also about 5 more VERY small other balls of mercury, I picked it up with a broom (I know i shouldn't have done that) and threw it away, I THINK i cleaned up all the mercury in my room, i washed my hands thoroughly and im going to sleep in this same room i spilled the mercury, will it harm me? it was very little just a few small balls or something.
