All of them require you subscribe to a data plan from a mobile phone provider. That is how they get their Internet to begin with. Because of the different "standards" the phone providers use, you will need to get oe which works with your provider, or the one from the provider.
were can i buy HOTSPOTS do they have to be serviced by people like sprint and nextel? i just wanted to know if i could buy little wireless hotspot gadgets like i saw this one in best buy mobile but it said verizon on it so i dont know if u have to be with verizon to use it can i just buy a non phone serviced hotspot from some were and have internet any were i go or do i have to pay a monthly charge with all mobile hotspot im talking about the gadget looking ones that could fit in ur pocket lol
