It is true that you can swap simcards in an unlocked phone.Locked phones need to get unlocked through network provider or third party unlocks like Classicunlocking.com .But if your phone supports only GSM network then you cannot use it with CDMA boost network. So even if you buy the phone you will not be able to use it with Boost network.
