Ray Bradbury - poetic to the extreme and i love the way he adopts loads of different styles.

My favorite authors are: James Patterson and Danielle Steel. James Patterson because, there is not one page in his book that is boring. Danielle Steel because, i love her romance novels! She is such a page turner
Mine's probably Kate Constable. Granted, her writing's not the most accomplished (not that it's bad, it's just young adult level), but her stories are very innovative and creative (the Chanters of Tremaris, anyway). I'd never imagined a type of magic like that before, and the world she created was very well-thought-out and interesting. My favorite book, however, is by John Steinbeck.
Anne Rice, because her books are AMAZING... at least they were before she became a sell-out...

Stephenie Meyer. I have read a lot of books and none of the other authors captivated me in their books as well as her. The Twilight Series and The Host are amazing <3 I also really like Meg Cabot.
I like Stephanie Meyer because the twilight saga is AWESOME! I love sophie kinsella and emily giffin books too.
