what is guitar and how do i learn it? for the matter of fact i've never touched guitar even for once in my entire life so far. i've seen few reviews and unboxing videos where people say things like picks,pick-ups,strings,amps and i am like totally confused. i dont even know how guitar makes sound(i mean not the physics behind it, but like say for example in piano i hit the key and i hear something, but what do i do with guitar? do i have just hold or pluck the string) so could someone direct me or give me some info about this. a detailed info is what i am looking at and if it is a video, it would be even more awesome. and can i just buy a electric guitar and connect it to a amp or some computer(daw or vst) and make it sound like acoustic guitar? i know that the other way round is not possible. thanks
