Gone over my phone plan with Vodafone for receiving calls whilst in south korea?

i was in south korea for a holiday for 2 weeks and i had my vodafone sim with me. My plan is a $20 dollar per month plan and i get $180 of credit and 200mb data. When i left australia, i sitll had 70+ dollars remaining of credit. I sent a few texts internationally but most of the time, i was receiving calls and when i returned back to Australia, i get a text message almost immediately notifying me that i have gone over my plan and what not. Im not stuck with a $130 bill owing vodafone. Is there any way out of this? I had no idea it costed me to receive calls, and that the cost was added on top of un-included value, so nothing was taken out of my remaining 70 dollars worth of credit at the time
