Building inspector refuse to provide in writing reason he fail inspection? I am home owner building my own house in NJ, from day one numerous times building inspector refuse to provide in writing reasons he failed inspection, besides that he also at times added more requirements even though the house was build as per plan. resulting in more time, money and effort..was told to dance the way he wants, not to involve consumer affairs ( that is if CA do cares ) or they will never ever let me complete my house, did building inspector violated any laws, what options do i have after i get CO cert.? house is almost complete except 2-3 things. can i sue twp. after i get CO ?
