    Yamaha V-Star cutting off?

I have a 2008 Yamaha V-Star Classic with only about 1,500 miles on it. I have been having a problem with the bike cutting off while riding. This happened to me a few weeks ago and just yesterday while riding it cut off 3 times. First time I was going about 70 on the highway. The other two times where on back roads. I have had the bike in the shop multiple times for this problem and they keep telling me there is nothing wrong with the bike. I have had them ride it but as you know when you try to show someone else something it never occurs and they look at you like your crazy. Yesterday I put a little injector cleaner with carburetor cleaner in it with a fresh tank of gas. Not sure yet if that will do the trick but im leaning towards it wont. I want to take the bike on a trip but right now I'm a little scared. Any help would be greatly appreciated to get me back on the road.
When the bike dies it Is only down for a few min. I am able to restart it within I would say 2 min max.
