Does any of the Androids on T-Mobile act as a mobile hotspot? Do you truly need a hotspot or will tethering work? I have been using bluetooth DUN from my netbook to my D2G and it works well.

Does any of the Androids on T-Mobile act as a mobile hotspot? sorry guess I didnt clarify. If you root your Vibrant then you dont need to pay the monthly fee of $15.00. Which is what I did to my Vibrant. yes I have t-mobile and even if you have unlimited wed usage on your plan IT DOESNT COVER HOT SPOT. that will be an extra $15 buckaroos as I mentioned earlier. And how to Root your Vibrant. Check on XDA Developers.com they have great forums step, step instruction on how to root. BUT BE CAREFUL. Do it at your own risk it requires playing around with administrator rights.

And Yes there is a $15.00 monthly fee for activating hotspot through t-mobile. Funny you ask because I was on the phone with them yesterday talking about this same issue. Hope I helped.
