toyota 1999 4runner limited 4x4 engine 3.4 v-6 automatic, my odomator went out, can i replace it with one from?
my 4runner had 153000 miles on it when it broke, it a toyota 4runner 1999 limited with a 3.4 engine.. if i can find a used one at the junk yard with the same mils on the used one will i just be able to remove the old one and put the used one in and will it show thw miles i had or will it show what miles are on the one i bought from the junk yard? can i just chage them out with a used one with the same milage or very close? or will it read different because of the computer? i dongt want to break the law but i need my odomator to work.. so can i buy one from a junk yard and put it in and will it read what that one has as miles? please help!!
