    i have the same thing, but like you said, nothing on the internet like it.

    for me, its not a daily occurrence and i haven't seen any regular triggers yet, although it did happen twice today.

    i'm in canada, so when i have time i'll go to the doctor (free healthcare, the only real benefit of socialism, yay) and i'll try to let you know

    Random sharp pain in throat down by jugular notch (trachea)?

    I've had this off and on for awhile now, and at the moment I do not have insurance, so havn't seen a doctor yet. It is a random sharp pain in the bottom of my throat at the jugular notch. Nothing I do provokes it, except going out into the cold air, beyond that it just happens randomly. It is not excruciating, just feels like a slight sharp pain. I can't find anything online close to it, so I thought I would post and see if someone mite know what it is. Thanks.
