What are the original oldest people's in european antiquity ? I would imagine there was a group which were the forebears of all Germanic peoples, the Goths etc. There was a group that represented the beginning of all Mediterranean peoples, the Etruscans, Romans, Classical Greeks, etc. What were the names of the OLDEST examples of these peoples ? And were there any other divisions that are known ? Perhaps I should rephrase the question. I don't mean the birth of the human race as we know it LOL I mean the first emerging homogeneous cultures in the early centuries BCE, around the time that for example the, Romans first emerged. So I suppose I mean the bronze age cultures, and their recorded ancestors.
