Why wont chrysler recall my Jeep? I drive a 2004 jeep grand cherokee limited. I heard about the recall and to my understanding it was for 1999-2004 grand cherokees. I got my vin and called my dealership and they told me that my jeep isnt covered. Im just worried because i just went on vacation and on the trip we drove by a jeep (same model) that had been rear ended and the whole car was in flames. Also my gas tank already leaks and it makes me nervous. But Chrysler refuses to repair my jeep. Also i have already fixed the tank twice before i know its not the leak thats been recalled, but the position of the tank. Just adds to how nervous it makes me to put my family in there
