Recovery from a Restrictive Eating Disorder...?

I'm seventeen years old and for a while now I've been restricting to 1000 kcal a day maximum, meaning sometimes it was as low as 400. I only just have a BMI in the healthy range because I lost quite a bit of weight over the past 6 months or so, but I really want to eat normally again. I'm managing to get around 2000 kcal a day now but I've read that after restrictive eating you need a lot more than that! I'm currently waiting on help from a professional, and in a couple of weeks I've put on 2lb (although I think half of it is water weight). I think my metabolism is adapting pretty fast, which probably means I can afford to have 2500+ kcal a day, yet my disordered thoughts seem to think I'll gain wayyy too much if I do that seeing as I'm not even underweight. I just don't know what to expect
