Questions about $1 a day Paygo service

This old thread asks the question and it's unclear if you can change a paygo phone to a regular. someone said they could but they didn't verify.

Questions about $1 a day Paygo service

I have a few questions that are unclear about their service. Right now I have straight talk but I'm thinking of switching to cricket. Actually I bought the Paygo from walmart and $35 card. It's been a pain trying to activate, getting bounced around between activation and porting dept.

    1) So the US Long Distance is 10 cents a minute. Does that mean toll free is not included? I use the phone to dial prepaid phone carRAB.

    2) Also I'm not clear on the coverage. I attached a coverage map for my zip code. When I s/w the customer agent, they said I can only call people from my zip code. :befuddled Does the coverage map mean I can't call people outside that area? What phone nurabers can't I call?

Since I already bought the phone and the card, could I switch to the $35/month plan later when the minutes run out? That seems more like the better option for me. I went to a corp store and they were going to change the phone from paygo to $35 but they would not allow a porting from straight talk.

    Thanks for any advice
