Can you have a temperature with trapped wind? 6 weeks ago I was up Hospital with my 3 year old Daughter, they believed she may of had Meningitis, but it turned out to be a severe earache and tonsillitis. Since then my Daughter has had a constant cough and cold. I have seen my GP 3 times since this happened and each time he has said she is fine, nothing is wrong, blah blah blah. Last night I had to take my Daughter up to Hospital again, she was constantly screaming in pain, she said her ear hurt, but she was also cramping up her stomach, the Doctors at Hospital checked her over and said she had trapped wind, and her ears were fine. Today my Daughter is drifting in and out of sleep with a temperature of 38.8 at the moment, I have given her Ibuprofen to bring the temperature down, surely if she just had trapped wind she wouldn't have a temperature? She is still saying her ear hurts and keeps holding it. Can you have a temperature with trapped wind? Any suggestions? Thank-you
