Why doesn't my dad talk to me anymore? It hurts me to know that me and my dad are drifting apart. Every since I turned 16 and started to get more rebellious, we just aren't close anymore. It's like he doesn't know how to deal with me. I'm 17 now and we go for days without talking. I used to be so close to him when I was young and I was such a daddy's girl so it make me really sad that we have nothing to talk about anymore. He's awkward around me and I'm awkward around him. It feels like its always gonna be like this from now on, idk how to be close with him again.. Someone please answer this, people hardly answer my questions so please anyone id really appreciate it
