It is true that you can swap simcards in an unlocked phone.Locked phones need to get unlocked through network provider or third party unlocks like Classicunlocking.com .But Nokia X6 supports only GSM network and so you cannot use it with CDMA boost network. So even if you buy the phone you will not be able to use it with Boost network.
