Unlocking means the user can switch between network carriers.If you want to unlock visit Mobile-unlocker.com and get their permanent remote unlock service. iPhone supports only GSM models and hence you cannot use US Cellular which is a CDMA.Unlocking gives privelege to switch between GSM networks only.
