Is it smart to buy a 2000 Mazda over a 1996ish Toyota corolla? I'm looking to buy a cheap used car. Poor college student means that I don't have that much money. For under $3000 I can get a 2000 Mazda Protege with about 120k miles on it. Looks clean. Or for about he same price an older 1996ish Toyota Corolla which does not look nearly as clean or as nice on the outside. Miles would be about alot more with about 150k to even 180k Mazda Protege (2000) http://imganuncios.mitula.net/2000_mazda_protege_es_rochester_ny_955895737883323 21.jpg Toyota Corolla (1996) http://digiads.com.au/carsales/used-cars/car_ad_photos/digiads_car_ads_121254_1.jpg
