How can a democracy develop reliable software ? (The acid test of a democracy is the
protection it affords to? most contemptible of human beings.(Justice Michael Kirby said that)). So if the number of such people living in the democracy is greater than zero, won't it just be your bad luck they are all working on your project ? What interest would they have in quality or relaibility ?
