Retaking either the SAT I or the SAT Subject Tests?

SAT scores
Math: 740
Critical Reading: 660
Writing: 720
Total: 2120

ACT scores
Math: 33
Science: 32
English: 35
Reading: 36
Composite score : 34

SAT Subject Tests (so far) :
Math 1: 750
Math 2: 780
Physics: 730

I was thinking of retaking the SAT because its my worst score but then i was thinking that if i got a 2200+ then my Subject test scores might seem a little weak. But if i retake the Subject tests and get all 750+ then my SAT I might seem weak....gah idk what to do..i only have time for one more test

First off, CONGRATS! Those are amazing scores.

I wouldn't recommend the ACTs. It's a 4-5 hour long test, and you scored beautifully anyway.

I think you should take the regular SATs again, simply because of the 660 in critical reading. It's usually the hardest section, but some vocab and grammar studying could *really* bring it up.

Don't worry about how it reflects upon your subject test scores. You got above 700 on all 3, so they're fabulous anyway.

Happy trails! Best of luck in college.

All your scores are very good.

Would you consider sending your ACT score and not your SAT score? Your ACT score is the equivalent of a 2260 SAT score (which is clearly better than your current SATs). Although your SAT scores are very good, you want to seem as strong an applicant as possible.

Then, if you're not comfortable with your SAT subject test scores, you could retake them in October.

If definitely want to send your SAT score, I would suggest taking the SAT I again rather than the SAT Subject tests. Your subject tests are all over 700, while your CR is a 660. I think it would look better for you to have 700+ on your SAT I and subject tests than to have 750+ on your subject tests but a 660 on a section of the SAT.

I hope this helps a bit. Good luck with everything!
