Is it Too Late to Sell my Verizon Samsung Fascinate?

I bought a Galaxy S phone, Samsung Fascinate SCH-I500.04 through Verizon about a year ago, perhaps more. I would like to sell it, and invest the money in a device that is more long-term by design (i.e. not a smartphone). Money is tight, and I can't afford to stay up with all the new phones, cool as they may seem for five minutes. The Fascinate wasn't what I had hoped, anyway. Is it too late to sell my Fascinate? If not, what amount should I sell it for? It's in fair condition - It works well, and there are no cracks on the device. I have a snap-on hard plastic case (cannot recall the original price or brand) that I bought in-store and the original charger/USB cord.
