Why dont I have any courage to talk to this guy?

There is this new guy who came into my sciencee class yesterday, he fully moved here from germany. he speaks pretty good english, and he sits behind me and seems like a really nice guy. The first day i was just like wooow i like this kid im going to talk to him tomorrow. so tomorrow, which is today came and i was freaking out hte whole time...i dont know why. i plan that im just going to be like "hey your from germany? coool" and like ask him like if he likes it here and shit. but i think im just nervous he will not like me or something...i dont know. so yeah i didnt talk to him ,i want to talk to him tomorrow but im scared its going to be a repeat of today WTF. :(
