Philips GoGear Raga won't display words "The" or "An"?

I have a Philips GoGear Raga that I've just been adding some songs to.

I've had it a while, and never had this issue before but I've just realised that it's completely got rid of the words "The" (from "The Westerner", for example) and "An" (from "An Cafe, for example).
This hasn't happened before, and it's ONLY in the list view, so when I go to play the actual track and all the information comes up, it's all there.

But it's annoying, because I keep stopping in the A list for An Cafe, and it's under C as Cafe. I've looked at the file information, and it all says "An Cafe", everywhere it possibly can, so I don't understand it. Why is the device suddenly deleting (quite vital) words from my artist/album/track names in list view?
