A sonnet I wrote, my fourth -- Thoughts?

[Title] Cherry Blossoms

If cherry blossoms blush and smell so sweet
If green woven grasses dance in the wind
If violet plums could taste like a treat
Then maybe, my spirit has found a friend
When sparkling ponds ripple in the rain
When thunder rumbles high above my head
When hands are cold but hearts are warm and plain
Then today really is not dark and dead
Let the sun shine brightly in the blue sky
Let the clouds churn swiftly to a day song
Let the world spin and we may ask it why
Time is short and love is boundless and strong
Ah, such sweet thoughts fill my weary bosom
And dreams of you, darling cherry blossom
