still no pics but the keyboard is terrible in portrait mode. i'm considering buying a keyboard app but not sure if it will help. overall the screen seems like it needs calibration as the touch inputs are not precise at all. the keyboard has also stopped responding to inputs at one point and the phone needed to be restarted. lastly, it takes forever to switch from landscape to portrait. i'm not sure if this is with all androids but my iphone was much faster and smoother.
on a positive note, i do take back my comment about it being sluggish as i feel like it's actually pretty decent when not being compared to the premium phones.

It seems like this phone is selling like gangbusters. I hope it drums up enough interest for someone to try and root it although if it gets an official update to 2.1...id be cool with that.
Also, I wonder how many of the people who complain about this phone being on 1.6 ACTUALLY have android phones? I have a G1 and while I can run 1.6, 2.1 and 2.2...I always go back to 1.6 because of how well it runs. The thing is the performance is the only real difference besides a few cosmetic things. I think the only app that I noticed you can't get on 1.6 is the official twitter app.

In my zip code the phone is $209.00 after a $20 web-only rebate. Hopefully they will add more Cricket Android discounts in the near future.
