Yeah! Capitalism!
If BlackBerry Data Plan prices are too cheap, then everyone would have a BlackBerry and then no one would be special!
No one would ever gawk at my Pearl anymore and ask to look at it or touch or take me out for lunch.
Ok, one of those three don't happen.
It's kind of ironic that the birthplace of capitalist greed has such socialist pricing on BlackBerry Data Plan.

Yeah I know that it is not really cool to have all those pricy BB plan but I don't want to see a BB in the hand of someone that doesn't even know what it was designed for and use it as an expensive cellphone to be someone cool
Sorry but BB are not for noobs, if they were it would use a windows mobile OS

Tough luck. Rogers is expensive as we all know, but what are you going to do about it? Switch to another carrier? OK, here is a new number for you. Number portability isn't available until 2009 (I know, I design GSM/3G networks for a living and I just launched an UMTS test network on Fido). Well, if you think it is too expensive for you, don't use it. If you have to use it, make your employer pay for it. If nothing works, use it and pay for it. Trust me, I know it is expensive. I live in both Canada and the US. I am one of the lucky one who doesn't pay for my Rogers Voice and Data connection since I am "testing" their network, and I have been testing for a very very long time now.
