I cut up sago palm tree leaves and put them in my compost pile is the dirt poisonous now?

I didnt know at the time how poisonous Sago Palm trees were until a dog chewed on one of the baby trees, and died , then I started thinking , maybe the leaves that I chopped up and put in the compost pile could make the dirt poison too , they have cyanide in them .
