How do I use the Sanyo Innuendo as a USB Modem?

I've got all the drivers, cables and so on for the phone, but whenever i try to dial in, I get the message "The remote computer does not respond, try pinging the computer to make sure it's available"

I'm on the Boost Mobile Netwwork, and I'm using the same number that worked for thethering my old iDen phone, S=2777, so what's the deal? What works for these new CDMA phones?
