1994 Ducati 900ss compared to 98 Yamaha FZR600?

I am planning on selling my 98 yamaha FZR and have a chance to buy a 1994 Ducati 900ss so I was wondering how they would compare. I definitely don't want to downgrade in performance but would be fine if they were somewhat similar. I just really want a ducati and this is the only somewhat affordable one I can find.

PS:This is assuming that both bikes are equally in good condition.And I also understand the difference between the 2 valve and 4 valve engines...I am more interested in handling, breaking, shifting, and so forth.
