Can I put a regular contract SIM card into a tmobile tap prepaid phone?

Can I put a regular contract SIM card into a tmobile tap prepaid phone?
I would like to know.
Im assuming yes, but i just want to be sure and if not...then that sucksss :/
ummmm and do you know if it can be like that with all prepaid phones from tmobile?
I hope you guys understand me..

Oh and the reason is because i dont have a lot of money to spare on a phone and i want a new one, and i was thinking i can just by a prepaid cell phone from tmobile.com for example the Tap Prepaid

and just using that phone and putting my SIM card into the prepaid phone since my SIM card is on a contract...
