Better to find study material, books and other information and you can learn to control it yourself.... no doctor or parents needed. Just the knowledge. It is like diabetes II and HIV, nasty uncomfortable but not deadly. Learn to live with it. Hands and feet busy, and depression can not get hold of you.

Suffering for 30 years, but I have it so well under control that a bout lasts 30 minutes now and not months as in the beginning.
