Keepvid...FLV or MP4?

I use Keepvid and when its time to download it gives you the option weather to get FLV or MP4 which is better quality? it says it is the same resolution for example 720 but i notice the FLV is always slightly larger file. so which i should i stick to ??? i have no problem watching FLV, i use VLC so...
