How can I change my outgoing message on the panasonic kx-td7685 cordless phone?

I have searched the instruction booklet online & can't believe there's nothing in there of how to change the voice mail. It's a wonder I ever set it up years ago when I bought it. I would very much like to change my outgoing message now, and was even hoping they would have a generic message. You would certainly think within the first 3 or 4 pages it would explain how to do this. Instead there's all this stuff about transferring calls & on & on of stuff i don't want or need to do. If anyone has this phone, it's pretty popular and I purchased it at Costco, please let me know how I can change my voice mail. Or, where I can write to Panasonic to let them know what idiots they are to not simply put it in their manual of how to do this. Voice mail is an important feature but I guess they think it's not. I don't see why this has to be a difficult thing. It should be able to be changed as easy as it can on an Iphone.

There are no e-mails downloaded to the new accounts. Only the old accounts still have all of the e-mails. I do not undersand why the old accounts work again as I didnt change anything there.
