Fido Phone with Rogers SIM card?

So i have a new phone, the Nokia 3500 which is my brothers, but i took it from him :3 i was like OMG PRETTY PHONE! i want it!! :D He didn't answer so i just took it and took the silence as a yes, so now i have a fido phone, yesterday he gave me the charger and now i just need a sim card and my mom perfers rogers, so i was wondering if a rogers sim card would work in a fido phone? I don't know if the fido phone is unlocked or not so yeah. Please answer asap D: i wanna use this phone! It's so pretty! Thanks! :D

Try inserting the Rogers sim in the Fido,Nokia 3500 and if it shows any error message like "invalid sim" then the phone is not unlocked.You need to unlcok it to make the phone accept the Rogers sim.You can approach Prounlocking.com and get the required unlock code for your phone.They provide the unlock code along with free unlock instructions.
