These answers are terrible, I'm not giving thumbs up to any of these answers so far. Also, Martin Luther King Jr. was a Republican from what his Niece has said. So, saying he would only vote for President Obama because he is part African American makes 0 sense. I do not believe Martin Luther King Jr. would only pay attention to ones skin tone or facial features.

Despite people trying to change History, a lot of Republicans at least the ones who don't waive the racist Confederate Flag around still think and believe in the ideas of Martin Luther King Jr. To put Martin Luther King Jr. into the same Category as the Voters who vote now a days is quite ignorant.
