Certain websites provide their Whois details for public whereas most of the websites get private registration. So the particular website's Whois details are not available for public. Private registration helps to avoid unnecessary hassles. It also keeps a person's private information being misused. In some cases like domain bargain and contact information Whois lookup would be useful. So providing Whois database for public has both plus and minus. Usually i use to get Whois lookup from www.WhoisXY.com It is very useful for me.
